I just got my Maltipoo from Healthy Pups 5 weeks , and it was a positive experience from start to finish. Irvin Blackkburn is a kind, sweet, knowledgeable man. While I did not visit the facility, I can say that I brought my new puppy to the vet the day after I received him, and the vet said he is a very healthy puppy, and in fact was cleared for pet insurance which I purchased. I really do believe Mr. Blackburn cares about the pups he breeds, and in fact, he would not release my pup to me just one week earlier than he believed was best for the puppy. I received him at 12 weeks, and he was 4 pounds, and at his 16 week check up he was 6 pounds and in great health. He was already used to his crate and slept through the night from the very first night. After 2 weeks he was totally pad trained, and now that he has all his shots, I'll start training him to go out. A good appetite from the start as well as a sweet temperament. A perfect, playful, energetic, social, affectionate puppy is what I got from Healthy Pups. In fact, my vet said she wants to swap him out with another puppy so I can see what it's really like to really have a puppy, because mine is such a good boy I can't possibly understand what other owners go through with their puppies. No thanks, I'll keep my perfect, Healthy Pup. I highly recommend Healthy Pups.
3 years ago we added our Teddy Bear from Healthy Pups to our family via courier delivery. We were so in love with her (Matilda) we decided to get her a brother this summer. The same courier (thank you Randy!) brought him as a complete surprise for our kids.We never considered getting our second Teddy Bear (Cornelius!) from anyone other than Irvin at Healthy Pups. These dogs are healthy, happy, well socialized and just ready to join the family. Courier service is impeccable! Thank you Irvin - great job with these wonderful animals, our family is now complete.
My girlfriend and I got our first puppy, Newton, here around Christmas 2015. He's been so great so we decided to get him a little brother, Darwin, just a few weeks ago. He's been wonderful so far and we couldn't be happier!
